The app is not live yet. Where is Next? is in development for web, iOS, and Android. We do not currently offer sign up or collect personal information through the product. This policy explains what the service is, what we expect to collect after launch, and how privacy will be handled.

About Where is Next?

Where is Next? is a travel app for discovering places, saving inspiration, planning trips, recording visits on a personal world map, and sharing travel with people you follow. Features include AI search, My World coverage stats, Capture for visits, and a social feed tied to real locations.

1. Information we collect today

On this marketing website we may receive standard technical information your browser sends, such as IP address, device type, and pages viewed, through our hosting provider. If you email us at support@whereisnext.app, we receive the address and content of your message so we can reply.

We do not run user accounts, store travel content, or process location data from the app on this site because the product is not publicly available yet.

2. Information we plan to collect when the app launches

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive identifiers and profile details those providers share, such as name and email.
• Travel content you create. Saved places, trips, visits, posts, comments, follows, and interest tags.
• Location related data. Places and visits you pin or record. Precise device location only if you grant permission for map features.
• Usage and diagnostics. Device and app version, screens used, and logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

3. How we will use information

• Provide and operate Where is Next?: maps, saves, visits, social feed, and recommendations.
• Personalize suggestions based on your activity and stated interests.
• Respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Content you choose to share, such as posts about visits, will be visible according to your privacy settings. We expect to use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, and infrastructure, including cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, who process data only on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Retention

When the service is live, we will keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You may request deletion of your account or specific content by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

6. Your choices

• Use in app privacy controls for profile and post visibility when available.
• Revoke location permission in your device or browser settings.
• Contact us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.

7. Children

Where is Next? is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International transfers and security

We may process data in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product moves toward launch and beyond. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. If the service is live, continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes before launch will be posted on this page.
